Rich and I had fun at the beachy town of Playa del Carmen. I mean, c'mon, reading in a hammock, swimming in the warm ocean, drinking eating and shopping in Playa del Carmen, riding sailboats, diving... tough life. Yes, it is true. Even if you heard this before, I'll say it again: Carol went diving! Of course I find out now my suspicions were true-- I could have seen a shark; but they had me convinced there were no sharks in that area. So, I learned how to use the equipment and we dove! I liked it pretty well - I might do it again. Rich was so happy about it. We didn't even consider it a bad time after I yakked off the side of the boat at the return trip. Well, I'm proud of myself that I overcame my fear that day and just did it. Still, I prefer being poolside... :) Or in a hammock reading a book. :)
