These pics are pretty self-explanatory. The Louvre, Venus de Milo, the crowd at the Mona Lisa. The weird-looking building is "Arche de la defense" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grande_Arche - it is in a straight line down the road from L'arche de triumph. It was right next door to my hotel, and the last subway stop on Line 1 is in front of the arch. it is an office building.
My next big trip is to Singapore and KL, so the weather should be quite different.
