Must be a few days till Christmas...
If they're having school parties, making Reindeer hats and Gingerbread houses! We've had a busy couple of weeks with all the celebrations. Now it's the welcome calm before the Holiday hoorah. Also pictured are: bubble beards on the kids and "Plank", pancake artist Siena shows off her Holiday shapes, and the gutted bathroom. The bathroom renovation is in-progress, and the end is in sight! Looking forward to a very snazzy family-room-area!

Hong Kong goodbye!

Still in Hong Kong
Night picture out of my hotel room window #456.
Random night scene in "The Causeway" - (another) huge shopping area with lots of stuff, ranging from local eateries to full-on 5th avenue shopping.
"The Peak" is the hill behind all the buildings that run along the shore of Hong Kong Island. As you can see, it offers quite the view. It's overcast today, so you can't see the enormity of the skyline - it rings all the way around the harbour, with residential towers on the further way islands at 2-3 o'clock in this picture.

New colors
Siena earned her purple belt in Shaolin Kempo - which comes along with the black gi. Zack earned his orange belt. We are all so proud of their good work! Mommy is supposed to get purple one soon.
Hong Kong today
Random street scene in Wan chai near my hotel.I took the ferry from the hotel over to the other side - Tsimsha. It costs $2.20 Hong Kong (40 cents?) and takes about 8 minutes. This is the view from there back to the "main" part of the city. Every night they do a "fireworks show" on the buildings by lighting them up in time to music. Here are few shots.
